LoyalDM ("we", "our", "us") is a multi-tenant loyalty platform that helps businesses engage with their customers through Instagram Direct Messages. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with a business that uses LoyalDM.

1. Data We Collect

When you send a direct message to a business that uses LoyalDM, we collect the following information:

• Instagram User ID -- your unique identifier on Instagram.
• Display Name -- your public Instagram display name.
• Message Content -- the text and media content of messages you send to the business.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide loyalty program features on behalf of the business you are messaging (e.g., tracking points, delivering rewards).
• Send automated responses to your messages (e.g., points balance, reward status, and program information).
• Improve and maintain the reliability of the LoyalDM platform.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare infrastructure. We retain your data for as long as the business account you are interacting with remains active on our platform. When a business deactivates their account, associated customer data is deleted within 30 days.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only with the specific business whose Instagram account you are messaging. We may also share data with service providers (such as Cloudflare for hosting and Meta for message delivery) solely to operate the platform.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data by messaging the business directly or by contacting us at the email below.
• Withdraw consent by stopping communication with the business on Instagram.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued interaction with businesses using LoyalDM after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
